In this major renovation of a 19th century home in Raleigh’s historic Oakwood neighborhood, it was important to respect the Victorian personality of the original structure, while tailoring it to fit the lifestyle of a modern family.  In the laundry room, custom cabinets and patterned floors come together to create a pretty, yet functional space.  British wallpaper with a Victorian bird pattern was used in the formal powder bath, and specialty millwork was designed to make the primary bedroom ceiling a feature.
