For this art gallery in Chicago, we adapted an original 1930s brick carriage house into a space for cutting-edge contemporary art and performance.  Industrial materials like the raw steel floors and exposed brick walls are true to the urban context, and add a contemporary interest to the otherwise minimalist design.  Custom lighting and strategically-placed skylights contribute to an airy space that is perfectly suited to displaying works of art.
